There's nothing penelopePR's founder Tiffany Astle loves more than throwing on a pair of wool socks, brewing a cup of java and getting cozy on the couch for a day of work. Since moving to Toronto she always believed she'd own a company that made that exact start to every day possible. 

Fast forward 8 years and that's exactly where she is, leading some of the biggest campaigns in entertainment in Canada. From red carpets at the Canadian Country Music Awards to celebrating Number One singles with both Canadian and US clients, there's no question that whatever penelopePR is doing, it's doing it right. 

Taking on the world with her business partner (and first intern ever!) Richelle Umali at her side, Astle can't wait to see what the future has in store for Toronto's most fun PR agency.

RICHELLE UMALI

Richelle Umali joined Astle as partner in 2018, returning to PPR after an eight year hiatus. You can always count on finding her snuggled up to her pup Phife, or belting the words (usually embarrassingly loud) to her favourite country track.

Starting her career as PPR's OG employee in 2011, Umali went out to spend nearly a decade leading campaigns for global brands at both the agency and in-house level (High Road Communications, INK Entertainment, Citizen Relations, Narrative). Her time away allowed her to gain years of experience including an extensive understanding of marketing, creative development/production, project management and the execution of large-scale client events. Umali has worked across multiple consumer accounts, including Converse Canada, Loblaws, Spotify Canada, Facebook, Boots & Hearts (inaugural year) and Veld Music Festival.
